Soul and Wisdom: The Life of Ferdowsi

Soul and Wisdom: The Life of Ferdowsi is a short animated biopic about 10th century poet Abolqasem Ferdowsi Tusi. The film was completed roughly a year and half after its idea was conceived. It combines 3D animation and 2D motion design to unravel the life of the legendary author. I (Rostam) also accompany the film as a periodic live narrator, providing insights into Ferdowsi’s life against the backdrop of traditional pardeh khani.
