LIVING IN FEAR is a poignant exploration of the human spirit amidst the shadows of prejudice and trauma, set against the backdrop of post-9/11 America.

At the heart of the narrative lies the story of Cameron, a 15-year-old grappling with the shattered remnants of his once-secure world. Born to Reza, an Iranian immigrant who sought refuge in the United States prior to the tumultuous events of the Iranian revolution in 1979. Cameron’s life takes a harrowing turn on an ordinary day in the wake of September 11th, 2001.

A routine trip to the local market with his father transforms into a nightmare when two assailants unleash a brutal assault on Reza, leaving Cameron’s world in ruins.

Paralyzed by the trauma of witnessing his father’s savage attack, Cameron retreats into the suffocating confines of fear, unable to venture beyond the safety of his home or the shelter of a locked car.
