The story begins with the character Catherine who just recently fled from her home country Iran, where she escaped a forced marriage and predestined life. She finds herself in the United States, seeking freedom and a new beginning. She meets an American man, and they quickly fall in love. However, her dreams are shattered when her green card application gets frozen. Desperate to stay, she considers the American man’s offer of marriage, only to be devastated when he abandons her for another woman willing to pay him for a green card marriage. Feeling betrayed and heartbroken, she must find a different path to secure her future in the US.

We hope that People can understand the desperation of people in society particularly the ones who are trying to immigrate to another country and why some of them go through desperate measures because it’s hard.
