Distant Words

Photographed while in Iran, Distant Words combines animation, text and bold imagery to tell a story of isolation and abandonment that comes when you lose your voice. Still landscapes are brought to life and become the setting for a story of yearning and a search, not for a loved one or a place but for the ability to communicate and speak one’s mind.
